Esco Pharmacy Is an Official NYC Drug Drop-Off Location
We're proud to support the NYC Safe Disposal Program, providing a safe and convenient way to dispose of expired or unwanted medications. Our DEC-approved bin is available during business hours inside the pharmacy:

  • Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

💡 Before drop-off: Please remove or black out your personal health information from any medication labels or packaging. Medications should be sealed in bags or their original containers/vials (no loose pills)
⚠️ We Do NOT Accept Sharps
Please do not drop off any of the following:
  • Needles
  • Syringes
  • Lancets
  • Injector pens (e.g., EpiPens)
We also cannot accept the following:
Sharps must be taken to Sharps Drop-Off sites, marked in orange on the DSNY map or arranged through NYC's safe disposal resources by calling 311.
